We are so grateful when one of our families shares what they love about the Kirby Hall School community. One of those families is the Moodys (Kirsten, Charles and Ann Louisa). Learn more about their time here and why they choose Kirby Hall for their daughter’s education:
How many students do you have who attend Kirby Hall?
One in second grade.
How long have you been at Kirby Hall?
This is our fourth year.
How did you hear about Kirby Hall?
A friend’s children went here.
What do you love most about Kirby Hall?
That it’s serious about learning but still a sweet environment.
What is one word you would use to describe Kirby Hall?
I usually call it “sweet” when describing to other people.
What are some special experiences you or your child has had from school here?
One of our favorite times was the art fair at the end of last year. The whole school was there and the atmosphere was very warm, fun and festive.
What would you tell a friend about Kirby Hall?
I tell them that the elementary school is perfect for Ann Louisa and for our family. We like the curriculum and her teachers and staff, we like the central location and the setting, and we think the other students and parents are also great people to be around.
What sets Kirby Hall apart from other schools?
The size, the location, the historic building and setting, the unhurriedness of teachers and staff. It’s a calm and comforting atmosphere.
Thank you to the Moodys for all that they bring to the Kirby Hall community through helping in our school garden to serving as parent ambassadors!
