Pre-K4 Teacher

Small, private school in Austin seeks a creative and energetic teacher to lead our prekindergarten classroom. Applicants should enjoy creating dynamic and playful learning experiences for young children. • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (Master’s and degree in early childhood education preferred)
• Minimum 2 years working with young children as an educational leader
• Understanding of high-quality teaching and learning
• Commitment to continued professional development
• Experience collaborating with colleagues around lesson development, classroom management, differentiation, etc.
• Experience with creating play-based learning opportunities for young children
• Deep understanding of the foundations and best practices for young children
• Comfort with documenting children’s learning through photos, videos, dictation, and portfolios
